Spring Grove
Western Arborvitae
A fast growing, cold tested arborvitae selected at the Spring Grove
Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati, Ohio. This clone has experienced -25F temperatures without missing a beat! It has shown excellent
resistance to deer browsing and bagworm. Selected by Matt Vehr of
Spring Grove Cemetery, Cinn., OH. The perfect plant for creating the
privacy you demand. If you're looking for a fast growing, but well behaved
hedge or screening plant to provide privacy this is your plant. A much
better selection than Spruce which can take up large amounts of space.
Better than your normal Arborvitae which is slower growing and which is
favored by deer for winter browsing.
